Magic the gathering : Themes for a white deck?

alright so, i've been playing magic for about 4 years now, and this one friend i have always seems to make killer decks and i can never beat him and it's getting frustrating. so recently i've been playing with white alot, and i made a pretty good soldier deck with a bunch of things to pump up there stats, but still i can't beat him. im looking for a creative theme to make a white deck, that would be good enough to beat my friend, but not necessarily built just to counter his deck. Any ideas ?
