Recipe for Ginger Square cocktail?

I lived in South Africa for a while and at the Oliphan experienced my first Ginger Square cocktail. I am not sure of all the ingredients but for sure there was Ginger Ale, Cola Tonic, brandy, but can anyone else tell me what the true recipe is????
