How can I compete with my friend's b-day party?

I never thought I'd feel this way, but I feel incapable of competing with the way my friend hosts parties for her girls. She had poney rides (which cost $150), lots of games, extravagant food, etc. I know she loves to host big events, but I'm not that type. In addition, I'm a single mom who has to do EVERYTHING alone, while she has her husband by her side to help her all the way through (and to pay the bill). My daughter will be turning 11 this fall and we usually go to the park, play games, have cake and munchies, and that's about it. I just feel as though this isn't enough. Honestly, I'm feeling disgust towards the way my friend is materialistic (in more ways than one). How can I compete?
