Given that the true nature of reality is unknown and unprovable is it not arrogant to scoff at Christians?

the true nature of reality cannot be made clearer by playing 'make believe'. christianity is a way to deal with the difficulities of the apparent reality. not a way to discover what is behind it, or embrace its apparent truth
