Epilepsy and driving?

This is a question nobody can answer for you. I can only tell you about my experiences. I do have epilepsy, I don't drive much. About 9 years ago I did have a seizure behind the wheel, I hadn't slept enough which is a trigger for me. After that I stopped driving for a few months, but I was cleared to drive right away. Later when I had a lot of seizures within a few months time I stopped driving under doctors orders, he changed my medicine and after a year he signed off on me driving. I still don't drive much because I don't want to chance it. Just make sure you take your medicine and have confidence in your doctor and yourself. Bottom line if you're not comfortable driving then don't do it.
